Sweden, An Ideal Travel Destination
Sweden is the ideal destination for the travelers. It is the largest among the Nordic countries in Northern Europe. Its borders touch Norway and Finland. It is connected to Denmark through a bridge of Oresund (Oresundbron). The country involves the wide areas of scenic coastline and idyllic islands.
Sweden has lovely people with high standard of living. Stockholm is its archipelagic capital. Urban Sweden is more stylish, advance and sophisticated, while the countryside offers simpler pleasures. A land of cultural contrast, Sweden, has plenty of forests and thousands of lakes. Gothenburg and Malmo beckon with the urban delights.
In the middle of Sweden the lakeside resort, Ostersund is famous with Scandinavians. Visitors opt more for the Baltic islands - the largest island, Gotland, with its array of ruined medieval churches, is a popular highlight. The scenery of Sweden has a gentler charm. The “Kingdom of Crystal,” is a forested area between Stockholm and Malmo boasting several fine glassworks.
Norrland is located on the northern part of the country with nine provinces. It is ideal for hiking. There are lots of big forests, rivers, lakes, marshes and high mountains. The major cities are Umea, Lulea and Sundsvall. Svealand is in center part of the country. It includes the Stockholm, Uppsala and the province of Dalarna, Narke, Varmland, Sodermanland, Uppland and Vastmanland.
Gotaland comprises ten provinces in the southern part of the country. It includes the islands of Oland and Gotland. Gotaland’s largest cities are Gothenburg in the Vastergotland and malmo in the Skane. Sweden and its people have an air of reserved calm.
